TOURNIKET is a door set of a circular plan consisting of two parts: a fixed and a rotary one: The fixed part consists of two arched walls in the opposite position, reinforced with a ceiling ring beam. The rotary part is composed of a central column with interior hung- up leaves. There can be two, three or four leaves. The door leaf edges are equipped with sealing brushes. The outer walls can be either made of glass or solid. The inner leaves are usually of glass fixed in aluminium frames. A wholeglass Tourniket without any frames on the leaves represents a special type.

Tourniket is the only revolving door type which can be controlled manually as well as automatically. All the other revolving door types must be equipped with a drive due to their size and weight. Smaller diameter revolvings equipped with an electronic reader ensure monitoring of people entering the building.
